Freedom went one step further, directing readers to detox solutions that can help the many thousands of Desert Storm veterans who, along with their families and children, today suffer from the effects of chemical or biological weapons of that era.
Results of the investigation have also greatly increased U.S. and British legislative and government ministry awareness of the issue and the need for proper care for Desert Storm veterans. Subsequently, in 2002, a Research Advisory Committee commissioned by the U.S. Secretary of Veterans’ Affairs reopened investigations into the toxic effects of Gulf War biochemical weaponry. In November 2004, the Committee issued its conclusions, stating, “Research studies have consistently determined that wartime stress and psychiatric illness do not explain Gulf War illnesses in the large majority of ill veterans.” The findings dramatically validate the cause of British Gulf War veterans, who seek Whitehall recognition and acceptance of the need to address the issue and treat the actual cause of the disease.
